A creative project for industry-leading audio specialists, complementing an impactful design with audio throughout. Bruce helped to reposition Audio Experts’ digital presence and make it more reflective of their services and high standards.

 

the brief

Some business models have organically grown and thrive on their fantastic reputation within their industry. Audio Experts have built themselves up to be the ‘go-to’ for all things audio production within the world of advertising, podcasts and radio. A company website should not only act as a lead generation tool, but also a validation tool when a recommendation has been made.

The brief for this website was simple: reflect our high standards and reputation. Audio experts had an existing website that felt dated and not fit for purpose. They wanted a small website to act as a validation tool when they had been recommended to new clients. The branding was out of scope and they had an existing dark colour palette that needed to be retained.

experience & design

Our design team worked on multiple concepts to find the suitable balance between a creative visual approach and a sense of understated premium. We used a blue highlight to help keep the website recognisable to the Audio Experts brand. We also used abstracted sound waves as background animations to elevate the subtle colour scheme. 

Next, we surfaced an audio showreel upfront on the home page to show off the premium audio outputs on offer. This, complemented with the brand brags, hooks the users in from the outset. 

And finally, we completely reworked the content strategy of the website to use high-level digestible summaries, with the option to delve in deeper if desired. The portfolio section is a filterable series of projects each with their own audio clip on offer. We identified that the audience care most about the output, the product, which is why we show real world examples of work that can be heard rather than read about.

Once we'd laid the foundations, Audio Experts were able to launch their revitalised vision and engage new business with the right first impression. The finished product was also user-friendly: intuitive, sleek, and irresistible.
